I can’t believe how quickly the weeks are flying by. We are thinking about all our families and community during this difficult time. We miss all of you so much and can’t wait to get everyone back at school. Make sure that you drop us a note to let us know how you are doing!!
Like I said last week, the staff have been so busy making sure that your learning continues while classes are suspended. Being online is not the same as seeing your faces and helping you while you are in school but we need to make sure that you are engaging with your teachers. Remember you still need to keep up with your activities and lessons the teachers are putting online. If you find that you are having difficulty accessing the online learning, please let your teacher know and they will help you get going. If you still need a device make sure to call the school and we can see if we can get you a device to get you online.
Telus has also offered those without internet services a special for $9.95 but there are specific criteria you need to meet. Here is the link to access this great deal!! INTERNET DEAL
Cultural Journeys students should have received learning materials to support student’s at home. If you didn’t receive the materials make sure to call or email so we can get those to you.
We are still committed to ensuring the expectations of the Ministry of Education and follow the four set of principles that were given to us in March:
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for all students, families, and employees.
- Provide the services needed to support children of essential workers.
- Support vulnerable students who may need special assistance.
- Provide continuity of educational opportunities for all students.
If you have any questions about the expectations please do not hesitate to contact the school.
Have a fantastic weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Colleen DeVeyrac – Acting Principal.
