UNIVERSAL PRECAUTION (SHOES & SOCKS):

We have MANY kids walking around the school with no shoes & socks on these days. We are asking that parents please help us in reminding kids to bring extra shoes and socks to school in the event that they get wet while outside (or if they just don’t want to wear them). With so many kids in school this year, it’s important to remind students of the safety and hygienic reasons to wear shoes and socks at all times, especially in the gym, hallways, and bathrooms.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION:

CONSTRUCTION DELAYS – Please note that there may be some delays starting this week as work progresses on the bridge off Clarke Drive.

READING BUDDIES is a program put on at the Squamish Public Library each Wednesday starting on November 6, 2019. Teens will be paired up with students in grade 2 – 4 students to provide extra reading practice. More information is available on the attached poster.

SEA TO SKY LEARN AND SHARE – This event will be held on October 26th, 2019 and is for Trans, Two-Spirit and Gender Diverse Community members of all ages and their families and loved ones. A poster is attached for additional information.
