Dear Parents & Guardians,

What an amazing first week here at Aya7ayulh Chet (Cultural Journeys) and Learning Expeditions! It was so nice to see all the students having so much fun in getting to know all the teachers. The enery and enthusiam was really something special!

As mentioned, each week on Friday I will be sending out a Mr. Gordon’s Weekly “E-Blast” with important information from our school. The purpose of this email is to minimize the amount of emails into one consistent message. Please read through the information carefully and don’t hesistate to contact me or the office directly for any questions. All these “e-blasts” will also be posted on our school website at https://seatoskylearningconnections.com/

Office News:

Absent or Late to School –  If you child is going to absent or late to school please contact Gayle in the office at 604-892-5904 or at glaurie@sd48.bc.ca. When your child shows up to school after 9:00am, please have them sign into the office so we don’t accidentally call home and scare any parents/guardians. The students will then receive a late slip to take to their teacher.

Universal Precautions

Each week we will be sending out “universal precaution” reminders to all families to ensure safety for all the students, families, and staff at our school.

This week, we would like to remind all our families about PARKING SAFETY. Now that our school is the biggest it has ever been, and with so many new student & families  joining us, I just wanted to remind everyone to drive very slowwhen coming up the hill and in the parking lot. I am outside every morning and after school to ensure all students make it into the school safely, so please help me by drivinf slowly and always looking out for kids running out from behind parked cars. Thank you for your support!
