JANUARY 14 – 18, 2019:
GRADE 6 LEARNING EXPEDITIONS INFORMATION SESSION will take place on Tuesday, January 15th, 1:30pm with Mr. Gordon, followed by a tour of the Learning Expeditions classrooms in the next couple of weeks.
DENTAL SCREENING for all Squamish Nation students ages 5-7. The screening will take place on Thursday, January 17th at 9:30am.
JANUARY 21-25, 2019:
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION begins on Tuesday, January 22nd. Registration forms are available at the school office or on line at https://seatoskylearningconnections.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/cultural-journeys-registration-form.pdf
ALICE LAKE FIELD TRIP – Ms. Lowe’s class will be visiting Alice Lake on January 22, 23 and 24 from 10:00am – 2:45pm each day. Please send your child prepared for the weather as they will be going rain or shine.
ENGLISH 12 PROVINCIAL EXAM will be written on Thursday, January 24th from 9:00am – 12:00pm, for those that have registered.
SCIENCE WORLD FIELD TRIP – Ms. Lowe’s class will be going to Science World on Friday, January 25th from 9:00am – 3:00pm
BROWN BAG LUNCH PICK UP VOLUNTEER – We are looking for a volunteer to pick up lunches at Helping Hands every Wednesday. If you would like to volunteer, please let Gayle know at the school office.

DON ROSS MIDDLE SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE will be taking place on Wednesday, January 16th (from 5:30-7:30). This open house is being planned and coordinated by the DRM Action Team for Partnerships, with the goal of increasing community engagement in our school. Community partners will be at the school discussing available services. Many DRM staff, and students, will also be available to showcase learning spaces, student work and a variety of DRM clubs/organizations. There will also be a presentation of learning, from 6:30-7:30, for the DRM school playground project. We would like to invite any interested community member to attend this event, including our incoming students and families.
VALENTINES DANCE FOR GRADES 4, 5 AND 6 – This dance is hosted at Squamish Elementary and is open to all grade 4-6 students that attend Squamish Schools. For more information, please see the attached poster.
IN THE KNOW SESSION – will be hosted at the Squamish Public Library on January 28th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Please find additional information on the attached poster.
